Kate MacLeod – Real Life Mermaid

Look out on BBC Alba tonight (Tuesday 23 March) for the second programme in this series. Kate Macleod is a young woman from the Isle of Lewis who loves the sea and has progressed from wild swimming to swimming with a mono-fin to now being a real-life mermaid complete with her mermaid tail made in the USA. Even if you don’t understand Gaelic and can’t be bothered to read the English sub-titles, you will love the pictures above and below the coastal waters of Lewis.
